Sued for saying bad stuff on SI?

Gee whiz If this is so, I would speculate that Wexler's legal bills must rival that of another well known Bill.

Shoot I'd hate to see what Lawyers do with that Flame thread!

And Oh My, to think of sparring in court with an 8 foot tall chicken....(To those who have witnessed the wrath TLC's rapier like wit!)

Dauntless, using the BB word doesn't look too wise now does it?

Oh no, the sky is falling!

Linda,

Yes there have been. A guy by the name of Craig Crawford was recently mentioned in Smart Money as the subject of a lawsuit over what he's said here in SI. He still posts in Roger's Shorts thread regularly. I also know another another person that got sued for spreading what the company considered rumors. This person was just a librarian who was trying to help investors of a small biotech that was on the verge of going under (of which I was a stockholder, unfortunately). I and others had to offer to help pay his legal fees because he couldn't afford it. So it definitely does happen.
