Okay, this is the right thread now.

Jan,

I followed Gary into the DGIV thread about a week ago and couldn't believe the hype. This stock, DigitCom, has risen from .50 to just over $4 today in the matter of about a week. I feel it has to do with the self-fulfilling prophecy effect of its hype on that and other threads, but it's starting to look like a real momentum stock now. There's not much info. on the company, but they are into internet voice communications which is an area ready to explode (Cisco and others are working on improving voice communication over IP). If we could all make some money on DGIV with a strategy, that would be something else. Any way to take advantage of this momentum without getting burned ?

They just announced today (well, that would be Thursday) that they are planning to officially become a Nasdaq Small-Cap stock and will file the appropriate papers to do so (stocks must be at least $4/share to make the grade).

A brief on the company from their news release:
Digitcom is a telecommunications and data network company working with regional and national telephone companies in Europe and on the Pacific Rim to establish international long distance networks. The company is a leader in Internet voice communications technology and is marketing its Internet-based telephony products under its brands: ''FAXport'', ''NetCall'', ''VOXport'', and ''Mobile Callback''.

BTW, in some places DGIV is listed as DGIV-BB (for Bulletin Board) when listing quotes.

M
