Alex, May I recommend a book for you to get at the library. "Get Rich Slowly" by William T, Spitz, Its about building your financial future through common sense. I too and learning about the stock market I control my daughters portfolio and she 14 she also has a drip plan she contributes 100 a month because she has a dog sitting job and in the process of finding out about and setting her up a Roth ira too and she can use some of the money for college or to buy her first house. I am proud of you to learn about investing, one of these days my daughter will get into making the decisions and research herself. All she does now is look at the $$$ that I am making her.
