What you are saying is the first I have heard of it re: I*. Could well be true of course. Where do you get the info?

My underlying view is this. Two things matter above all in telecom. Access and cost. Other stuff has a bit of influence on the margine.
Amount of access only matters for those who can afford the tarrif.

G*'s model is a lot more comfort making.

I suspect a lot of you emotion is based upon having bought I* at a good moment, and G* at a poor one. By happenstance, or whatever.

Over time, it is the weight of the choice that matters, not the timing. Although timing always matters a little, and takes perhaps quite a while to diminish to small when one is dealing with very volatile (up and down) stocks. Like G* and I*.
