To all,

I will fearlessly predict that the market, AMAT, and KLIC will all be down tomorrow. Re: the market, there will be a natural aversion to 9000. Re: KLIC, 100 bonders is a BIG order to lose - and it was cancelled, not just pushed out a quarter. Someone will buy those sometime, but management's statement that they will have to make some adjustments means they don't see the next buyer stepping up soon. Re: AMAT, 40 is a psychological resistance point, and the weight of all the preannouncements, earnings downgrades, etc. is finally going to catch up with it. People are going to take some profits, just in case. Perhaps it will resume its upward trend after that, but I think for tomorrow, and perhaps right through options expiration, 35 - 38 is a more likely range.

Now, that's a lot of fearless predictions, so I expect to be wrong on at least one, just not sure which one - but I am betting on KLIC going down!
