"The gateway contract with QCOM was for $275 million--$2.7 billion + $275 million does not equal Iridium--not even close. " 38 gateways for 275 million? There seems to be an additional $80 million coming from Globalstar to build (in anticipation of selling them to local partners) additional gateways. Plus, what are the local partners going to spend on the venture? My point was to say that the total system costs have not been described to a level at which comparisons make sense. The plans are structured differently. Dragonfly
