Quotes from Island can be obtained (and continually updated automatically) from gritch.isld.com This is a no frills but very efficient Java program written by Josh. You need to have the latest Java downloads and once they are installed then wait for the _ prompt (you see nothing else) and type in the ticker of the NASDAQ stock. To change the stock you must "Refresh" the screen and then type in another ticker. The volumes and prices on the left are the bids and those on the right the sells. Go to isld.com first to get all the download and installation instructions. It really is a nice program (even though it is unpretentious) and thanks to Josh for making it available.
