Your calculation is correct; twice as many shares at half the price. If you're updating the portfolio for market value, don't forget to use the closing price at the time and day you update; the price at the exact moment of the split is no longer relevant for your purpose. If you're updating your basis (cost), it's, again, twice the shares at half the basis (half the original cost). ...Tim
