Jenna,
thx for Your opinion. I like this company too. Traded in the high 40ies I think this fall. Then came the downdraft. Analysis consensus being 0.15. If they crank out 0.20 they should jump next week (April 9th). Some followers think that their Asian contracts were not so severely impacted (Korea etc.) than the company originally thought.

I know that telecom sector in Asia should be less hampered by the AFC due to the following inference..
1) wireless telco counts as infrastructure. Worlbank, APEC-bank and US-gvt. backed funding is very likely in any event
2) recently US-bank conosrtium implemented a huge debt-rescheduling plan
3) with so many blue-chip (and with lobbying power <G>) US and EC-companies (LU, MOT, Nokia, Ericsson) involved, funding for infrastucture expansion in Asia can be counted on

I heard in various messages that Korean shipments have not even been postponed, notwithstandeing they have been canceled. Also the company announced their anxiety over estimates this winter, definitely before march. I somewhat got the feeling they could even exceed the 0.20.

Jenna, what do You think it would mean for the stock if PWAV does not generate 0.15 but 0.20-0.22 next Thursday ? What would You expect in such a situation from Your experience ? For me this is my second earnings play - must admit that I didn't watch such situations in the past..

best wishes
CROSSY

BTW: another earnings play in this segment: SPCT, reporting April 28th or April 29th. However they will post a loss due to restructuring charges (layoff of 25% of workforce)
