nothing new but here's news coverage in san diego paper.

Altris CEO Resigns
San Diego Daily Transcript
April 2, 1998

Jay Tanna has resigned as chairman and chief executive of Altris Software. No reason was given by the company for the move. Tanna also stepped down from the board of directors.

The San Diego-based maker of document management software has hit several obstacles in recent weeks with news that reviews of past financial statements will cause the firm to reduce significantly past revenues and earnings due to errors in recognizing revenues.

The news caused severe drops in the company's stock, which has sparked a shareholder lawsuit against the firm.

Altris said it named Roger Erickson, formerly vice president of strategic partners for the firm, as interim chief executive and former chairman Robert Bruce will serve as a consultant to the company. A new chairman has not yet been named.
