Lee: between Asia, Japan's problems, EMU and a stock market at it's high, gold is probably not done climbing. We had a great end of the week for gold. I added some South African Gold stocks to my portfolio.
Now, what will be interesting is to see whether this weekend's Barron's will decide to
a) try to talk gold down (and that would be very bullish!)
b) ignore the ongoing gold "problem" and speak about DOW 9000 (bullish as well!)
c) or suggest that some should now invest in gold (the least bullish of all, IMHO)...
The gold bull has it all over the gold bear at this time, and we have probably started the GGR98 (the Great Gold Run of 1998) (hopefully).
Good luck
Gaston
