[forum?]

Hi Tom,

have you given any thought as to the forum in which an announcement might be made?
best i can come up with in the next two week time frame would be a g.lite dog and pony show..

about the middle of feb... there were going to be 4 meetings before technical specs were completed in oct... seems like such a meeting should be coming up...

... and from jd's aol post... speeds @ 720 kbps are g.lite speeds... and prices @ $49.95 sound like g.lite prices.. and such prices would probably mean consumers buy their own modems... a g.lite concept.. (and who will be selling fujitsu/orctf silicon based modems?)

if so, would think a g.lite gte/fujitsu/orctf deployment announcement might dovetail into aol/gte news and maybe a tie-in one of the big three behind the uawg? maybe fujitsu/orctf is ready to roll with the lite stuff... :) ... wouldn't that be sweet... remember that "software download to final standard" comment from n. cole?...

of course this is only speculation... and the coming weeks will tell, but am starting to feel like something big might be cook'n...

best wishes
s
