Paul ,I know Intel has done better than the Celeron.
My point was simply that the race does not always go
to the fastest runner - perhaps that's where a betting
man should place his money (depending on the odds) . . .

Actually the betting analogy is apt. Intel is the front
runner, but everyone knows this and the odds reflect
this, so the potential payoff is small. AMD is the
underdog, so when/if she comes in the payoff will be sweet.
