LT,
I have bought about this taxation issue this after.
Actually it is a positive message to DGIV, let me explain it to you.

DGIV is focusing on third world and emerging countries. The governements in these countries also monopolize the telephone business. Their PTTs charge much higher rate than U.S, some of thier countries charge even $2 a minutes to call U.S. There are many other countries in this world and U.S is just one of them. This taxation costs may affect IDTC and some companies who only focus on domastic telephone business.

One or two pennies higher per minutes would not be a problem for international call. The business and marketing vision of DGIV is so fantastic while they planned their strategy. Like the big boy, QWST, AT&T, WorldCom, MCI, SPRINT may consider to buy out DGIV if DGIV's global network can come true. This is a very high potential growth company. In addtional to just for services, DGIV has real PSTN gateway product on hand that make this company much more attrative when they try to approach other PTTs in the world, What do you think?

Dear LT,

In response to your concern about the FCC seeking fees on phone service over the internet -

IMO - it is a valid concern, for companies that have a stock price that already reflects a certain amount of revenue and net income -
a taxation levied on these companies will effect everyone equally, however, DGIV hasn't even come close to reaching a "fair" stock price and therefore shouldn't be effected by this warning.

For your broker to say this will cut the current price in half is absolutely "ludicrous".

IF YOU SEE A BETTER OPPORTUNITY AT THIS PRICE LEVEL FOR ANOTHER STOCK - BY ALL MEANS JUMP ON IT !!!
(after proper DD, of course)

GOOD LUCK, LT !
