PledPiper,

If you read my posts on WSTL thread about ORCTF vs WSTL you might remember that I was trying to persvade Trey that WSTL stock is not underpriced as compared to ORCTF. I based that on the greater acceleration of ADSL sales from ORCTF as compared with WSTL, which indicated to me that ORCTF's modems are more popular as of late.

On the other hand I do think that today's news which caused a $4 (25% from $16)jump in price on 1 million plus shares volume is a significant overbought condition. I think the company in question is Siemense and they revealed their desire to deploy significant number of ADSL lines in Germany some time ago. Why the price of ORCTF did not jump when that became public knowledge?

BTW AWRE also jumped $4 (around 30%) from $11 to $15 on the day when Intel/Compaq/Microsoft announcement hit the street and AWRE was mentioned as a possible modem supplier. Later on it consolidated back to $12.5 I think before growing back to today's price of $15.

Since I do not know much about ORCTF maybe you or someone on this thread could answer couple of questions. Where does ORCTF has its manufacturing? If it is in Israel, how secure is it? How a company with $24 mil. sales can manufacture, deliver and support 70,000 modems in DSLAM settings in such a short period of time for such a capricious and demanding customer as a Local telephone monopoly?
