Per IOM's press release ..As Iomega's COO, Flaig's responsibilities include..........

Looks like someone's taking charge, I didn't expect these type of moves until the new CEO was chosen. These guys have a plan and aren't waiting to act on it, wether good or bad looks like someone's got a vision of how things need to change. I like the move it shows that leadership forces are at play and actions are been taken.

A comment on a bit of advertising that was so conspicuous that one couldn't help but review. In the Computer Reseller News there was a 13 page IOM layout of their products ( very impressive ). The pages that caught my eye more than the rest were the ones dedicated to the Clik! drive. One page showed the actual sized Clik! disk the other showing the drive itself. This little guy looks great, it talks
about up to 40 near 35mm -quality ( mega-pixel ) photos,
400 10 page MS Word documents or up to 4 hours of voice dictation. From the pictures it looks like it's a production model. Sure would like to see this guy hit the street.

IMN also had a two page spread with the caption:
>> Introducing SuperDisk
To you it's a 120 MB diskette.
To floppies, it's " Mr. Compatibility." <<

They're still trying to introduce it !

And lastly there was also an ad from Fujifilm talking about the Zip disk but also mentioned the HiFD disk : (

Going to Mickey land Florida for a week
Good luck All

Edwin; No way I would short IOM, my post was just to make known
why I was no longer positive on her..as not to long ago I was,
I realize she is a popular stock. And if your long what I said
may not sit well. But If someone goes back and sees were I was
positive..and since I've changed my mind I felt I needed to
post it. But to go short no way, anyhow thats not my style, it's
rare for me to short anything, by and large I think shorting is
a saps game.
----------------
As for the LS-120 I see the price about to fall, and it's my
understanding they have really improved the floppy part to
were it is now 4 times faster than a regular floppy.
But I haven't tested a new one myself so I can't say that
I know that for fact.
--------------------
I don't need any luck on a short position, with IOM or any where
else at this time. <G>
I've said my thing and have taken IOM out of my book marks,
and off my watch list. Good luck to the longs I would really
like to see IOM go..I just don't think she will.
