I have been a long term lurker and fairly recently joined. I have thoroughly enjoyed the wisdom and wit on this thread. I don't know much about drilling but I do know about dogs, even "investment dogs", I own some of them but not due to this thread. I am long on MDCO, TMAR, GW, ESV (Baird), FGII (BigDog), UTI (Lisa), PKD (BigDog), and PNDR. Sorry L.T., no NE yet. Would like comments from others who might follow PNDR. Bought under .50 just after Eugene Butler (formly Weatherford) took over as CEO. Rode up to 2 1/2+ and back down again (not very smart). Steven Webster (FLC) and partners have put 11M in Ponder (see SEC filings). They acquired Fishing Tools Inc. and just announced acquisition of COT.

As for dogs, the four legged kind, I will be glad to give the best advice I can via e-mail. All can be good guards dogs if not mentally deficient. We see many very good Rotts and Dobes but we also see many that you cannot trust. Ger Shep do have many hip and elbow problems but are excellent if you find a sound one. Labs and Goldens make excellent companions and protectors but again, some are not very dependable. Enough on dogs, e-mail if I can help. If I can't, I certainly know someone who can in most cases.

Again, thanks for a GREAT THREAD. Ben ( DogDoc)
