Dear TZ, You've got to love politics. The complaints about TCI raising rates "too fast" is ironic. Correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't the city council have the right and obligation to approve cable rates? Is this "the devil made us do it" defence? Now they want to hold TCI hostage to the council's decision to approve rate hikes? I'm OK now. Just lost it for a minute. Seriously, you raise some troubling points. We can send a man to the moon and map the human genome, but we can't control politics. I'm going to see if I can find any information on the pending TCI/Dallas contract. If I get anything, I'll be back. Jim Mulis
