Hi, Greg! I just got back from Chicago & am catching up. We didn't sell PIXT @ 7 1/2 and seeing it back in the 5s today HURTS! Our current objective is to stay aggressive and sell to lock in profits until our stock portfolio is @ least double our annual income combined. Taxes are the American Way and as long as we net $1000s, I'm not going to split hairs. I always hear this strategy of holding a stock "for life" and "never sell too soon". Well, the way I see it you never have a true profit(aside from dividends & certain stock splits) unless you SELL to lock in the gain. I have seen too many IOMs, BOSTs, OXHPs!! I have also seen people Margin themselves into the poor house trying to hold stocks that weren't performing(including me when I was in college--I partied faster than my stocks did!). Yes, I would like to buy a stock and hold it for life but I think the stock I would choose would be FAST, not PIXT. I hope the factory news takes PIXT back over 7--If so, we will sell @ least 1/2 our shares. I hope this stock DOES go to 20--by then we will have made many more $1000s on it! We are dumping our Pru broker and going with a NYSE specialist in NY. He has a great track record and our same style. I feel we also need a good tech stock (NASDAQ) broker--I think you would be great (providing you will SELL occasionally!) :) Thanks for all the great input! SB
