Charliss and All, There's Carlos Santana(sp)/Wendy Carlos, an accomplished musician. There is Renee Richards, the tennis player. I don't remember Christine Jorgensen's profession and don't even know if she is the first, but merely the first to receive widespread publicity and general acceptance. I have given this some thought over the past couple of days since it was brought up on this thread and would say that my thinking and feelings on the subject remain neutral, perhaps because I am not able to visualize myself in that position. In other words, I cannot imagine what it might be like to feel or think as the involved people do. I think Mesaba gave an excellent analogy in an earlier post on the subject. Holly
