mr. menia: at least i understood the dave stewart attempt. are you really trying to figure it out? i'm gone after the trial expires anyway, so don't hurt yourself trying. if you assume that all the background informatioin i have posted is accurate, you will never have a chance at solving the problem. i actually admire your optimism. i don't have a clue when you got in, but i am now making a slight profit. i mean slight and given the time frame i have invested here, i am way behind what i could have done in the indexes. i am negative on this management because they have the best product in firewalls, one of the best in e-commerce, and even if they sell the company, i get intercoursed. they absolutely have not delivered. they have not been successful at telling the street what the company does, or they have been successful at convincing the street that their bad management is more important in the investment equation than the strength of the products. perhaps because time flies at light speed in their business. perhaps because checkpoint, which supposedly has inferior technology, executes so well. i spoke with management recently and could have asked how the quarter had gone, but i did not. i did not because the past two quarters i did ask, was told that everything was on plan, and then watched the stock sink into the announcement that things sucked. it is of no avail to ask when the answer is unreliable. i am negative while making money because i am mad at myself for falling for their bs. while i share that blame, i will not miss these fools, nor will i ever invest again with them, if they really are being taken over. and much as i think we will lose out big time if that does happen, i hope it does.
