Yes, I know a wee bit. The mexican property is immdiately North of Francisco Gold - FGX which trades around $17 and has been on a nice rise on takeover rumours. It had a high of $29 and went to $11.

Go to Stockhouse and read Cheeseboy's post from the NIC newsletter and also visit the BZZ website. Or Email the folks at BZZ.

OR phone the PR firm - Kholberg Capital.

Mr Donald McInnes reports Blackstone Resources and Glenhaven Resources have jointly made an application for a prospecting permit to explore a 328,000 hectare property in the Longwood and Takitimu Mountain Ranges on the South Island of New Zealand. The property surrounds Anzex Resources' Longwood platinum-palladium project.

The property lies within and peripheral to the Longwood igneous complex in an area where past production has yielded 1,500 ounces of platinum and 80,000 ounces of placer gold. The igneous complex shows distinct similarities to the world-class Bushveld complex in South Africa and the Stillwater complex in Montana, which are the only true platinum and palladium mines currently operating in the world.

The Bushveld complex accounts for in excess of 70% of the world's production of platinum. Renewed interest to explore in the area has been generated by a recent shift in New Zealand government policy. For the first time permission has been granted for drill testing of the Longwood igneous complex. Anzex plans to drill test the area with an initial three hole, diamond drilling program in the spring of 1998.

Following the granting of the prospecting permit by the New Zealand government, Blackstone and Glenhaven will begin an exploration program that will consist of stream sediment sampling, localized geological mapping, rock sampling and prospecting. Areas that are recognized to have mineral potential will be followed up with grid establishment, soil sampling and ground geophysics.
