James -

Based on Prudential's Earnings Estimate of
$0.76 for 1998 and $2.24 for 1999 here is my
guesstimate of Gross Sales.

Earnings Projections are from
Prudential Securities
(000)

------ 1998 ------ ------ 1999 ------
Gross Sales E.P.S. Gross Sales E.P.S
$45,900 $0.76 $104,200 $2.24
=========== ======= =========== ======

To put it mildly, these numbers are staggering.

I think it fairly clear what the game plan is:

(1) Get HMO support.
(2) Then Advertise SYNVISC on TV/PRINT.

Lastly, please don't lose site of the fact that we will
be getting $6.0 mil. in license fees from AHP in the
4th Qtr of 1998 and $7.0 mil. in license fees from
CGEN - if they go ahead with HylaForm in the USA.

THESE LICENSE FEES ARE *NOT* IN PRU'S E.P.S. $.

In conclusion, I think the only stumbling block here
is HMO support.

Enjoy the ride!

Regards,
John
