companies like Motorola & Microsoft will want to take over
companies like DGIV - because companies like DGIV become
a strategic threat to the satellite business.
Teledesic has layed off 1/2 it's work force at Boeing on
the project & the project is going down the tubes.
Consequently - Billy boy & co. will likely be looking for
more cost-effective ways of making money on voice.
See my past posts about Teledesic & Iridium & Celestri on the Iridium thread. (the calls using those will be 5-10x as expensive as
VoIP) They were designed 5-10 years ago before people knew
that VoIP would even exist.
