Is that a long winded version of "No, I don't own an acocunt."?

I take it then that your answer is "No, I don't own an account?" <g>

If the WAVX bulls refuse to get an account, why should anybody else?

PC still king...

Good article in the WSJ today about the failure of network computers to make inroads. The Sub-1000 PC, in combination with SUNW's failure to execute, has made "net boxes" a candidate for extinction. This just increases the odds that the Wave meter will be in alot of households in the future.

To SlateColt regarding Great Stuff:

You mentioned that the Great Stuff Network was a testbed for evaluating and testing the "concept". This was probably your point as well, but a source at Wave recently stated that it was a very useful means of testing the actual online performance of the meter itself - to make sure there were no bugs in the system. This was undoubtedly a critical process for gaining acceptance from OEMs.

As far as installing the WaveMeter on older PCs, I understand that it can be imbedded in a peripheral card and can also be imbedded in a modem. I believe Lucent may be a candidate to produce this product for the 'aftermarket'. I have no idea of its cost but I'm sure it would be quite a bit higher than the PC version.
