Charles, <<Any ideas why ?>> Yes. People are now concerned that Japan may implode. They are going to feed their paper stock market with savings paper. Boom! Guess where people flee to when paper is in doubt? Japan holds 25% of US debt. Where does the US go if Japan liquidates the debt? The TA for gold is now BUY, about time IMO. Hugs for all.

No group hug here. I just got a private message from little Joe Hornblower calling me nasty names for daring to question the ridiculous compensation levels of the officers of this company.
