The only way to get through the world is to have a sense of humor Jane. Maybe that is why you perceive it to be such a hostile place- you don't have one. But be that as it may, there are very few things that offend me. The biggest thing that offends me is hate, and people who act out their hateful impulses on other people. I don't like pedophiles anymore than you do Jane, but I know they aren't connected with homosexuality any more than the men who rape little girls are connected with heterosexuality. There are many more heterosexual pedophiles than homosexual ones, just because statistically there are more heterosexuals. Please look it up for yourself, the data is out there. And as for my "side" winning, frankly I don't see it. If my side were winning then toleration and love would be the norm. If my side were winning every child would be a wanted child, no child would be abused, no human would be spiritually or physically degraded by his fellow men, people who spread lies and hate about their fellow human beings would be as dead as the dinosaurs, and that is just for starters. I am just a simple agnostic, Jane, not a Satanist. In case you are unaware of the definition of an agnostic it means "one who holds the reality of God is unknown and probably unknowable." I do not reject God, because I see no reason to do so. I leave the whole matter an open question. If a God was involved in creating me, I have no doubt whatsoever it will understand me completely. It will know I did my best to be what I thought was a good person. It will know I tried my best to do as little harm to others as possible. It will know I made mistakes, but was sorry for them. It will know I not only wanted the world to be better for my own children, but for all children.
