Looks like two more blows for IOM. Compaq and HP to use LS-120 in their notebooks. It doesn't look like IOM has the ironclad grip on the market like everyone here seems to think.

CASTLEWOOD ORB HAS AN OEM ALREADY!

castlewoodsystems.com

Castlewood Orb has one OEM lined up already, and the drive won't be available for another month! According to the Orb web page, Sanyo is going to include an internal Orb into its upcoming hard disc audio recorder system.

Also according to the web page, Castlewood has other products under development as well. What if one of these developments is a MR tech based mini-disc drive? Castlewood could possibly be able to squeeze 500MB onto a 1 inch size disc, leaving the paltry 40MB Vapor! offers in the dust.

Iomega and its ancient technology are like a doddering old man compared to the new kid on the block- the new high-tech outfit called Castlewood!
