"what is causing LOR to take off? "

I'm wondering this too. Maybe the wide coverage of 300,000 handsets being ordered has made people feel that the market is confirmed. 300,000 handsets means a lot of customers.

I'm annoyed as I won't have my next investment money until the 10th and I was really hoping to get more LOR under $30. $30 is a steal, $35 is more than I want to pay.

Then again, maybe this is telling me that my expectations for how much the stock will move over the next 2 years are way too low-- if it moves solidly into the mid-30s this month, maybe it will be $100 by the end of 99.

Maybe the shorts are worried that Loral will make a big
announcement at NAB on Monday. Bernard Schwartz will talk
at 5:30 pm.
