I did not write the calls/puts...I better not try things that I do not know much about. However, if I think those stocks are way over-priced
right now and wish to short the shares, selling uncovered call should give me a few build-in points ?

OT: Jan, I'd suggest buying puts instead - limits your risk and bigger potential payoff. But a gamble either way.

I think I just now figured it out. If I am bearish and the stock does drop; I will be able to exercise my right to the puts...with lower-priced shares..
