Certainly makes some sense for really high level U.S. military communications. And they are acting on that analysis, right? U.S. military is in fact build its own purpose (and presumably highly secure and heavily coded I* gateway back in the U.S.of A.) One might imagine GB, with its maritime history, and possibly France feeling similarly. Iran, China, South American countries, indeed, the rest of the world might not see it the same way. Esp. if they have a gateway in their own country, and aren't planning on operating halfway around th world either, but rather in their own regional backyard. Doug
