I wonder about this line:

if low(i)>=.85*max(i,i - 250,hi) then

I'd put:

if low(i)>=.85*max(i,- 250,hi)

Otherwise, you're looking for the 251-day high 1 day ago, the 252-day high 2 days ago, etc.

We can take out "j" and "k" now, too.
