Baird...with all the buying at ESV it makes me wonder why the stock is hanging around the support area at 27 3/4 to 28. Seems like that kind of volume would move it up. I guess half want in and half want out.

Baird and ESV followers - Today action on ESV makes me nervous. Huge volume and plenty of weakness and despite analyst coverage it does poorer than its peers. I have seen this sort of action in the past of sign of telling us a major news is pending. A bet is ESV is going to acquire someone and is probably going to pay "too much". Everything else being equal, I would avoid ESV for an immediate buyin and look at other drillers for now.
