The way I see it Dave, 1997 was a brutal year for this sector and VNTV executed its way through that. 1998 has to be easier than 1997 was so I think VNTV enters a new valuation trading range (assuming there is a little top-line upside this quarter and they sound confident about Q2). I think this new valuation range could be between 50-60x forward 12-month earnings. 60x $.85 = $51.... and that would be right now as fwd 12 months rolls forward when they release this quarter later this month.

Using $1.25 for 1999 and a 50x multiple gets you $62.50 this time next year. A year is a long time in tech stocks but this is what my expectations are until I learn something new.

Gee, as I recall back in September or so, some of you (TD? Shege? Clam Clam? Steven? (also known as Farberware)) were predicting this stock as going to $40 by June. Anyone want to take the credit for that prediction since its looking VERY possible?
