Au contraire, Bzzy. Not only is it "conscienable" but wise, and maybe the order of events as they unfolded, thereby fulfilling the letter of the law re: timely reporting of material events.

I submit the following 4 Ur consideration in support of above premise:
Mucho legal negotiating between the "unmentioned company" and ORCTF's legal beagles may have not been resolved until after Q1 warning was issued.
If so, and I 'spect it is,
then the timeline most likely was
1) The warning first,
2) Share price tanks
3) Principals go, hat in hand BEGGING the unnamed customer
4) to allow them to release something b/c the shareholders are getting shafted,
5) the legal department of unnamed co gets back to them
6) and says "OK, but don't mention us by name."

Happens alllllllllll the time when guppy firms swallow whale sized contract(s).
eSPECially if said co=IBM ( <-- SOP re: IBM related Press Releases!)

All for now, grasshopper =|0}

"Rumour has it that some insider(not part of the company but knowledgeable of the ADSL deployment) was trying to accumulate ORCTF on post earnings weakness but pre deal announcement. To prevent this from happening the company announced their very vague deal yesterday driving the price up and out of this guys range. They had planned to wait and make the announcement with all details( who and how much? )later.

All very cloak and dagger.

A trading newsletter has come out and said they don't know whether any of this is true but take some profit none the less. Thats why the stock is lower. They reitterate that they do like the company long-term. Seems to me if you didn't get them out at 21 to hang on. "

Dear Ben:

I couldn't agree with you more on the announcements. Either someone is very dumb or very tricky- take your pick. Now tell me what has been leaked that has caused the stock to bomb today. This volatility is worse than the announcements. Someone is definitely messing around here and it ain't kosher!

Regards,
