If somebody is being bought, it looks like ATW. The stock is up close to $10 a share. I've seen no news.

---Checked it again. Apparently a misprinted price. Apparently no news on this one.---

OSX is almost an exact mirror of the DOW today..

Look at a 10 minute chart of the DOW and a 10 minute chart of the OSX.

They are nearly identical tick for tick. What does anybody make of this???

Richard

P.S. At least it was until the last 10 minutes when DOW started up and left OSX behind go figure!!!!

Oil has rebounded strongly, yet the osx is very weak today. Does anyone have an explanation for this action? When we talked de-coupling", I don't think this is what I had in mind!

PK

We seem to be de-coupled since Wednesday. Oil was basically flat Wed/Thurs and up 1% today. OSX was very strong Wed, moderately weak Thurs and flat today. Sure don't see much of a connection. Didn't Thean say that we needed three days of de-coupling to see a trend ? Of course, its not the right kind of de-coupling.

I think the OSX and the general market are going to be directionless until earnings season starts.

PK Last 2 days futures are higher and oil svs. and drillers are consolidating from their bottom to top moves. No big deal here,no de-coupling in my view. How long they consolidate is anyones guess, hopefully a few weeks. To all the next wave up will most likely only take the best companys higher. When techs made their move it was DELL MSFT LU that lead all others lagged behind or way behind. In our next move identify the big caps of this industry SLB HAL BHI etc. The first wave lifted all ships but the next is iffy. Most stocks under 10 dollars are not investment grade and should be considered speculation. Make money with quality.
