>>For those who are heavily short, earnings reports in a week or two will be a welcome sight. Anything for an excuse to take profits on internet companies.<<

Well last Q was released Mid Feb so are you sure that they will report in 2 weeks? I mean good cooks take time to prepare their food don't they? ;-)
Also, the expectation out of them is modest 13c for the Q, even the next year earnings expectation is 85c; what I don't understand is that if Internet is said to exploding at a fantastic pace and if AOL is supposedly a key player why should the earnings expectation be lagging so badly?
Yahoo research shows 2 analysts with a hold rating on them, any idea who they are? god bless those sane soles.
I agree that AOL is a safer and more convincing short than YAHOO; although both are way overpriced, YAHOO does have class in their product, I love their new email system with the features they have provided and rapidly too.

>Don't give up on AOL just yet. It doesn't seem to participate in these rallies as much the last few days. Looks like momentum is starting to fade.<

I will stay short unless the puppy starts heading to 80! ZITL and ACLY both falling like rocks today!
