Thanks Dan. Will have to download the stuff at: gildertech.com & check it out. I have no doubt that tech like this will be more widespread (as I would like to have something like this at some point - working on the beach vs. being in sunless environment :-) (if you could only see the laptop display in the sun - which you can't..)(not to mention getting sand in the keys) If MEME doesn't make their own product - and is only acting as a distributor/marketer - then I guess my next question is: who makes it and who owns the patent? How much of a licensing fee does MEME have to pay the owner of the tech per unit if they don't own it? From talking to the company - it was my understanding that they developed the tech themselves.. I guess my point before was that I don't think that MEME was/is probably a good investment only because I think they will face some very stiff competition from the big boys..whether they own the tech or not. (down 25% today by the way..at the moment..) There is more than just tech and future trends re: analyzing a co. -- there is: who can compete with them and how soon? what is their marketing strategy? financial backing? number of people in company? owned or is it licensed tech? etc etc etc. Happy I have my DGIV (up 900% on that one..), & picked up some GBIT a few days ago (booming) & ETEL about 4 days ago (booming) - so I'm happy :-) Tnks.
