Changing the subject slightly ... why can't I do a stop loss on SIII?

I tried to put a stop loss on my SIII shares, and got told that
the stock is ineligible for stop losses. According to the broker,
there are a small number of stocks (a few percent) that NASD
does not allow stop losses on.

Does anyone know what the criteria (sorry for the long word, I
just can't think of a smaller one) were for putting SIII on
that list? Does anyone know how us mere mortals can see what
is on the list?

Thanks,
spotter

QG.....

Yeah, I know. That's why I added the PS. If I get too serious about this I'll be forced to torture my pet cockatoo Mozart.

I'll be happier too if I get back the thousands and thousands I'm down on S3. I still think Frank should make up for all our losses. ;-]

Onward,

George
