I just joined your Pfizer party today, with a cost basis of 100. Being in the appropriate age group to appreciate the potential of Viagra, I couldn't resist investing in what might prove to be the top selling drug of all time. Most of my investments are in the electronics field, though I do hold some Onyx Pharmaceutical, a research company doing some fascinating work in an innovative cancer cure (see techstocks.com.

I am grateful to you all for your earlier postings, which helped me better understand PFE, and will look forward your continued postings, particularly on technical issues. I must caution you to expect a short term dip in PFE's value; I always seem to buy during a rally :-(.

Frank

<<As the link below shows, even small companies in the ED market can test their products
utilizing large numbers. The following is for MUSE produced by VIVUS (VVUS)>>

I never claimed that a small company couldn't test their drug on large numbers of people. In fact I would expect them to do so before receving FDA approval. My comment was directed to a specific ED drug that was brought to this thread's attention (see previous post).

Like I said before I don't expect PFE to take 100% of the market and in fact PFe claims that their drug is effective in ~70% of the patients tested. Therefore there's at least 30% ED patients that will need alternative treatments.

All that being said, my money is still with PFE. They have the size to aggresively market this drug to physicians and their drug unlike many others works when the individual is stimulated. Thus it is a much more natural process.

Good luck,
Perry
