From What I understand RS is the "Technology Big Picture" guy. It will take some time for everyone to stake out their ground and start
forward planning.

I think their first order of business is to fully integrate their
tools and for BORL to exploit the enterprise penetration that
some of the ORB tools have.

As you are, I am waiting for some PR talk.

He loves scuba diving and underwater photography ... maybe he's doing that. Visigenic was not successful, and its acquisition by BORL was move of despiration for both companies. The CORBA vendors are not making money (Iona lost money last year too). There wasn't much money in ODBC drivers and the other stuff Visigenic sells.
