Telebras just announced that the speculation that telebras would be
liquidated at the end of April and split up is not true and any change could only be done through goverment OK. This helped the market this afternoon.
My personal feeling is 1) During the last run up, Locally TBR left behind a gap at 145-145,50 reais on PN stock and a gap at 112,50 reais on ON stock.
Besides that the Bovespa future index left a gap at 11550. When I mentiond to you last week that we were expecting a correction it was because of these holes in the charts and the market sooner or later had to comeback down and close them, before reaching new highs. So the best way to bring the market down is to make up some gossip. As we say here TBR could burn rubber Monday!
I think we bottomed today, unless Motta says something bad on Monday.
2) TBR options have been at record volumnes last two days -Somebody has been buying cheap!

Hope to have shead some light- this is my perssonal opinion. I did not sell my ADR's and I have not sold my calls at 160 reais for the April 20th expire.

Michael

My order filled...APR 125C @ 2 3/8. Almost bought some May 135's @ 2 1/4 but decided I was to excited, need to take a breath and see what happens before over-extending myself much further.

I received several emails today from lurkers buying 120 and 125 calls today...Good luck!

As Michael says, hopefully TBR will burn rubber Monday. Thank you for the reassurance and first hand insight into TBR Mike. I hope we can help you out sometime with US stocks.

What a day, what a day. Kinda like the old days, now hopefully we get a 10 point bounce early next week like the old days. The sun just came out after days of gloom...things are feelin right.

Almost miller time!
