Paul,
It is called market risk. If you have a problem with that, and you stay in the stock business, eventually you will have a big problem.
Do you have any stocks, or have you at least seen any stocks that have gotten Crunched in the past say 5 days? They were all earnings related.
TSC mid day update, all of the companies that have an earnings reference are down big. This does not mean that DELL will miss, but there are a lot of comapnies in trouble. When a company gets into trouble, Litigation is the last concern of managements. They just want to hide until the storm is over, then survey the damage and work on a repair stratagy.

OXHP, ORCL, yes peoples pensions and college funds were in those stocks. Is there any ltitgation, I don't care. Does OXHP care, I don't know and don't care.
I do know guys that were short both of these when they happened. They made a big score.

The pension funds and mutual funds will go down in value. Some money runners will buy more, some will sell and move on.
There is probably a hedgefund out there that will go broke because of the move. It won't be me.

Paul, Look at history long term. There is no new paradigm :(
We are on the Titanic, we just don't know where the iceburg is, will we hit it in April, or will it be after April 2000. Either way, We will never make it to NY.
