DELL IS NOT GOING TO MISS THE QUARTER, OR MAY LIGHTNING STRIKE ME DEAD NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "If" DELL misses (hypothetically), I will drive to Round Rock and blow up the building (after I sell , of course) for management's lying to us. It ain't going to happen!

Dell will issue an earnings warning prior to the report date if they feel they will miss the number. There will be NO NEGATIVE EARININGS SURPRISES that weren't pre-announced prior to the May Q1 report. This is what decent management does and it avoids shareholder lawsuits. We should have gotten a warning by now if the quarter was in jeopardy. I know, I know, it's a moot point as short term investors who are long get hammered anyway whether it's a warning or surprise.... there's no time to get out. MEATHEAD
