Now, Now. There are many ways of making money on the stock market. That is why The rule I quoted is appealing. You just have to know your self and understand what you are doing. I have a running debate with a friend re. a particular stock that has climbed 400% in 3 months. The momentum crowd is climbing aboard, fearlessly and making a killing and value investor in me said, stay away. I will probably keep making the kind of return I have over time, but in the near term, people are making ridiculous amount of money, many different ways. I have no problem with it but I am not sure if they understand it is luck and momentum not their genius.
