X, Penni, everyone!! Happy weekend!! I go away for a few days, and see it has gotten awfully serious around here, intermittently at least. I, too, have been doing laundry, and my last load is out of the dryer but laying happily on the bed (where it is accustomed to residing for a long rest after the stress of spinning around and around) with two cats who are delighted by its warmth and the familiar smells of favorite humans, already purring heavily and wrinkling it. But I don't care!!! If I fold the t-shirts just so and then sit on each one for a few minutes, while I hang out at the computer, they are still acceptably crisp looking.

Aren't we getting into the realm of Kierkegaard here with the discussion of reality? Is a chair really a chair? What did he say about chairs, anyway? (I know it is crucial to the discussion, but I cannot remember at the moment.) Does a tree falling in the forest make a sound unless someone hears it? Do things exist until we perceive that they do?

Anyway, how about an ANTIQUE VIBRATOR MUSEUM to get everyone into a frivolous weekend mood?

X,

You wirte, " I could never have dreamed anyone so odd actually existed and had a day job."

Oh yes you could if you'd had my "day" job, and you would not--I repeat--NOT have been dreaming.

What's unnatural about eating heart? People eat liver and tongues. And really when you think about it, it's kinder to eat your own. More ecological or something.
Cruelty, lying, and no figs. I've had about all the abuse I can take today. If you're going to get all defensive just because there is a mountain range of dirty clothes extending through your house and you're green because my laundry room only has cat food on the floor, then you will have to deal with it. Because my reality says my laundry is done, doggone it.
I am grateful for many many things. And colorful characters, you included, are certainly on the list.
