Could one of you experienced traders educate the thread with an explanation of bid/ask sizes and ratios and how they can indicate activity, strength, MM shenanigans, etc.?

I am not a pro...just learning through experience, like many.

Bid/Ask

the simplest explanation for strength/weakness is....

When most trades are going off at the ask (the higher price)...that is strength. If followed by up tics (bid and/or ask), that is continued strength.
There will be trades at the bid (lower price) also, but as long as the trades at the ask price are in the large majority...meaning strength.

just the opposite for weakness.

I read the following threads daily...for tips and learning
