I believe Intel is in quite a quandry! Not sure I can verbalize it here and now, but it seems that INTC did not react fast enough to the push to low-end PC's. Normal hackers and surfers probably do not need superfast chips. They might be missing out of a growth opportunity, BUT, Intel could come right out and buy up their competition...

No Intel is not going to lose money or go out of business, but over the near-term, it may not be able to sustain their current growth rates!?

Good decision, IMO.

Hey, we're either both stupid or both risk takers. I sold half my position of Intel a couple of weeks ago and with the money purchased a ton of RMBS at 38 3/4.

It will pay off handsomely, I'm sure.

I have to tell you that your post was quite amazing to read. The reason is that yesterday I sold my Intel and bought Rambus. It appears that we are of the same mind re: this stock. So the short answer is that no you're not crazy!

I have been lurking since last july. Bought at 49 , sold at 83 (the second time)... I am a teke.... I know about bus rates. Had a client ask me to reseach gpl port. Turns out that rambus will be the first
major improvement in computing power. All intel computers run at 66 megahetez.

There was a link that said that rambus is the safest bet
it is .....
