I have to agree with what Eric said a couple of posts back. I also timed my Tava purchase poorly, in part due to Joe's exhuberance. However, I did my DD and felt comfortable it was a wise investment and would pay over time. Not once did I whine about it over the few months I held and patiently waited.

Joe's short and intermediate term picks are usually very good. Sometimes the timing on the entry is not the best (usually after the run-up has started). I suggest you use some TA to help time your entry a little better (again, for the short and intermediate term picks).

As for the pure momentum plays: stay away from them! By Joe's own admission, they are only for the very experienced investor who has realtime quotes, a fast internet connection, a responsive online broker, etc. I would also like to add a realtime charting capability to improve my entry and exits.

Bottom line: stick to the longer term stuff and you will do fine with Joe. He's a proven winner. Nuf said.
