Frank, I think if nothing else it gives Newsletter writers, and the like (brokerages, etc), a lot of extra leads to follow up on, or questions to answer (e.g., to prove or refute rumours). Often the hardest part about doing any research and/or writing a report is knowing where to start. I think folks who post to these threads give any researcher of the same topic a huge edge.

I know I've made a comment or suggestion about a NR or stock activity in the past that has turned out to be less than accurate (not intentionally -- I'm a learner), but those comments have served to give someone information to disprove. That is valuable info, if only to prove inaccurate, and even lead to some serendipitous finding!

Now beyond that, as you say, these forums offer a lot of information, all compiled into one nice resource. Often facts and/or insight offered here can be obtained nowhere else, especially not without a lot of work.

So, the conclusion here is, these are great sources for timely information and discussion -- better than any dated, printed material.
This is a very dynamic game, and we need current info to remain competitive as players!

Cheers to posters such as yourself, Frank, and to MANY others!

Thanks!
